Using Vacant Time Productively

While the pandemic created havoc in our lives, staying at home as one of the health protocols imposed by health authorities has afforded us more time to rediscover the talents and abilities given to us by the Almighty since the day we were born.

I already realized that I have a flair for art back when I was in the grade school. Most of the back pages of my notebooks were filled with scribblings of various subjects, mostly rural scenes. A favorite is a rice field with a small nipa hut somewhere, a coconut tree and a few tropical trees nearby, a mountain in the background with some cloud formations and some birds flying.

This hobby was set aside for a while in favor of work and other pasttimes. The quarantine pave the way for its reemergence.
