Tanggol figures in thrilling encounters in newly released trailer

PRESS RELEASE

Coco Martin’s Tanggol goes full throttle as he takes on a new series of action-packed adventures in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” which airs weeknights on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z and TV5.

Coco gave viewers a sneak peek into Tanggol’s hardcore transformation in a special trailer that was released last Friday (May 24) that featured his adrenaline-pumping encounters against his archenemies.

In an interview with ABS-CBN News, the Primetime King shared that viewers will witness an exciting new chapter in Tanggol’s life now that he will retaliate against his enemies. “Mag-iiba na ‘yung character ni Tanggol. From the time na nakulong siya, lumaya, at sumubok magbagong-buhay. Ngayon, another level naman ng journey ang papasukin ni Tanggol,” he said.

Reeling from the suffering that he has been dealing with all his life, Tanggol will finally avenge and seek justice for his loved ones. Although Tanggol is still unaware that Ramon (Christopher De Leon) is his biological father, he will single-handedly confront the notorious drug lord, whom he believes is responsible for the death of his most beloved Mokang.

The two will face-off once more in a death-defying battle royale that could possibly change their lives forever. Viewers should also watch out for more action-packed scenes as Tanggol vows to protect his friend Bubbles (Ivana Alawi) against Pablo (Elijah Canlas), who is suspected of physically abusing Bubbles.

The story of “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” also gets more exciting as viewers eagerly anticipate the heated confrontation scene between Tindeng (Charo Santos), Rigor’s (John Estrada) mother-in-law, and his overbearing mistress, Lena (Mercedes Cabral).

Don’t miss the action-packed scenes in “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo,” which is inspired by the original story of Regal Films, on weeknights at 8 PM on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, TV5, iWantTFC, and Kapamilya Online Live on ABS-CBN Entertainment’s YouTube channel and Facebook page. Viewers who use any digital TV box at home such as the TVplus box only need to rescan their device to be able to watch “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo” on TV5 and A2Z. The show is also available to viewers in and out of the Philippines on iWantTFC, while viewers outside of the Philippines can watch on The Filipino Channel (TFC) on cable and IPTV.
