Four teen aspirants stunned with their three-chair turner performances
PRESS RELEASE

Martin Nievera bolsters his MarTeam roster after snagging the sister of the lead vocalist of sought-after OPM rock band IV of Spades, Zild Benitez, in the recent episode of “The Voice Teens Philippines” Season 3.

In its Saturday episode last March 16, 15-year-old Francine Benitez, who is the younger sibling of Zild, managed to impress Coach Martin with her rendition of the OPM hit “Sundo” by Moonstar88—with the Concert King solely turning his chair during her blind audition.

Despite not turning for her during her audition, coaches Bamboo and KZ Tandingan praised Francine for her effort, noting that her voice can make her stand out in the acoustic music scene in the future.

Meanwhile, four auditionees stunned Martin, Bamboo, and KZ for their three-chair turner performances onstage.

Former “The Voice Kids” contestant and Kamp Kawayan hopeful Tiffany Vistal (16 y.o.) impressed the coaches with her whistling voice during her rendition of “Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw,” eventually earning her a seat this time for KZ’s Team Supreme. Likewise, Cebu’s Joselle Pawiga (17 y.o.) and Subic’s Edzel Gorospe (17y.o.) both chose KZ following their three-chair turning performances of “Till My Heartaches End” and “Ikaw Lang,” respectively.

Martin also added a three-chair turner auditionee in Oxy Dolorito (13 y.o.), captivating all three judges with his version of Pilita Corrales’ timeless track “Usahay.”

Following Week 5 of its blind auditions, Coach Martin added his tally to 16 teen artists, with the recent inclusions of Francine, Oxy, and Thenshi Santos (15 y.o.). Bamboo’s Kamp Kawayan finishes the week with 14 hopefuls, with his recent pick-up of chorale member Elle Manalili (15 y.o). Finally, KZ caps off her Team Supreme hunt with 13 artists so far, including three-chair turners Tiffany, Joselle and Edzel, plus Arvery Lagoring (16 y.o.) and Justin Reolada (17 y.o.).

Catch the next set of teen hopefuls looking to book a spot in their blind auditions on “The Voice Teens Philippines” Season 3, Saturdays and Sundays on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, and TV5.
