New iWantTFC and Dreamscape digital series

Eleven young and promising actors are gathered together by iWantTFC and Dreamscape in its latest digital series “Fractured.”

The good looking cast includes Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, Kaori Oinuma, Jeremiah Lisbo, Daniela Stranner, Sean Tristan, Raven Rigor, Vaughn Piczon, Majoy Apostol, Kim Rodriguez and Krystal Mejia. They are joined by Jennica Garcia, Mylene Dizon and Kaladkaren.

In the recent media conference, director Thop Nazareno said that ‘Fractured’ is “relevant, very now and very relatable” because of the role of social media in the intertwining of the lives of the characters and the accompanying circumstances.

The series shows “the hidden, undisclosed part of a person’s life that is usually not shown on social media” as opposed to what are often shown: the good and the perfect side of people.

The cast showed that they have individually prepared for their respective roles and are ready to face the challenges. Sean revealed that he “worked to develop genuine friendship with Raven in order to show good chemistry onscreen.”

Majoy shared that her character was the reason for the others to be in the island where most of the story revolved. She also expressed her desire to act in a thriller and roles that require action or something with a secret identity.

As to the readiness to take on a lead role, Jeremiah believes that “the right project will come along at the right time” depending on the decisions of the higher ups.

Daniella was at first intimidated by Francine and Seth but later on discovered that the two are ‘sweet and mabait.’ She said she can relate a lot to her character as an aspiring actress but later on divulged that the character has a big effect on the two.

Francine has bloomed into a pretty young lady who hopes to play a psychotic character and an action role.

She shares the same reaction to their role in “Fractured” with onscreen loveteam Seth, that of being “apprehensive yet excited.” Both also said they can survive without social media, something which the cast endured while shooting scenes on an island.

Among the exciting scenes were those involving the characters of Sean and Raven which were described as having strong ‘kilig’ factors. Another pair, Jeremiah and Kaori, has a kissing scene which was shot many times where the kiss had to be on the forehead, the cheek and lips, the last of which was the director’s final choice.

Jeremiah revealed that this time he portrays a dark character while Kaori admits she’s not a ‘palaban’ person being easily affected by negative comments.

Direk Thop hopes the series will teach netizens to be responsible in the use of the social media as each post can affect others’ lives, positively or negatively, though unintentionally made.
