Martin Nievera called for backup, in the form of Ogie Alcasid and Klarisse de Guzman, as he tried to persuade two blind auditionees to join MarTeam over Kamp Kawayan.

Both Martin and Bamboo turned for Kathryn Ashley Tenorio (11 y.o.) of Cavite, who sang “Isa Pang Araw,” and Kzhoebe Nicole Baker (8 y.o.) of Laguna, who performed “Mabagal.”

Ogie went onstage and urged Kathryn to choose Martin as her coach. “I want you to consider Martin because he will take care of you. He knows if you’ve got potential and you will probably see your dreams come true when you start learning from the King,” he said.

Meanwhile, Klarisse, who was a contestant of  “The Voice Philippines” season 1, encouraged Kzhoebe to join MarTeam over Kamp Kawayan. “Syempre MarTeam tayo. Napakabait niyan, galante ‘yan,” she shared.

However, Ogie and Klarisse failed to persuade the kids as they chose to join Bamboo’s team instead.

In the second week of the blind auditions, KZ Tandingan also brought out rapper Gloc-9 onstage to help her convince Princess Cañete to join her team. Ultimately, Princess chose Bamboo as her coach.

Now on its third week, the three coaches are continuously filling up their teams with talented young artists.

Aside from Kathryn and Kzhoebe, Candice Flores (8 y.o) of Cavite and Francheska Nora (12 y.o.) of Batangas joined Kamp Kawayan.

Martin, on the other hand, recruited Deion Ang (9 y.o.), who went viral in 2017 for his cover of “Dahil Sa’yo” by Inigo Pascual, and Ysabelle Cruz (11 y.o.). Both kids hail from Cavite.

KZ also welcomed Rhian Zeph Tiwana (12 y.o.) of Iloilo, Sab Paica (11 y.o.) of Batangas, and Savannah Pudadera (10 y.o.) of Cavite to Team Supreme.
